Our Mission
Plio Academy provides free, self-paced AI and technology education to children ages 5–17 nationwide. We believe every child — regardless of zip code, income, or prior exposure — deserves a confident first step into the world of artificial intelligence.
Plio Academy delivers its curriculum 100% digitally through learn.plio.academy, guided by Lio — an AI learning companion designed specifically for children. In-person events in Las Vegas amplify the digital experience but are never required for participation.
The program is organized into three age tracks: Explorers (ages 5–8), Builders (ages 9–12), and Innovators (ages 13–17). Each track covers AI fundamentals, machine learning concepts, AI ethics, and hands-on creative technology projects.
Plio Academy is a nonprofit organization currently seeking 501(c)(3) recognition. All funding goes directly toward curriculum development, platform access, and community outreach.
Founder
Princess — Founder & Executive Director
Princess founded Plio Academy in Las Vegas with a straightforward belief: the AI revolution is happening whether or not every child has a seat at the table, and a nonprofit can change those odds. Her background spans technology education, community organizing, and a firsthand understanding of what it means to navigate complex systems without a guide.
Plio Academy is built on the conviction that free means genuinely free — no upsells, no data harvesting, no prerequisite hardware beyond a browser. The mascot Lio carries the organization's name (P-LIO-academy) and its promise: a companion for every learner, at every step.
